New Photos

I received copies of two old photos today - one of the rear of the house and one of the general store.  Thanks Roger!

Notice the delicate veranda railings!  
I would date this close to WWII as there is electricity which did not come to Harrowsmith until the late 1930's.

    Hi, Brad. Came to your blog from 'Meanwhile, at the Manse.' We moved to eastern Ontario from near North Bay three years ago and absolutely love the area. I'd love to have the courage (not to mention the financial ability) to take on an old stone house, as there are so many beautiful properties in this part of the province, but think I will just live vicariously through your blog.
